Exploring AI in business through recent events has opened up exciting new ways for us to combine creativity, technology and human-led design.
Over the past few months, the team at Momo Studio has been exploring the exciting world of artificial intelligence, discovering how it’s shaping the future of design, marketing and business.
As a design, digital, marketing and print solutions studio, We are always looking for innovative ways to enhance creativity, streamline workflows and deliver even more value to our clients. Recently, we had the opportunity to attend two fantastic events that have truly inspired us: Google’s “AI Works for Business” at Testbed Leeds and AI Unlocked at WX Wakefield.
Google’s “AI Works for Business”
This event was packed with fun, interactive experiences and opportunities to get hands-on with AI.
One of our favourites was the AI juice counter, which created a drink based on your selfie and mood , it was a playful reminder of just how creative AI can be, the juices were really good and spot on reading what we needed.
There were also prompting challenges, where participants were given personas and random tasks to complete using the best prompts they could craft. Another challenge involved programming robots to play football by refining prompts to tackle, defend and score goals. We had to work on ours scoring home goals, by reminding them the colours they were playing for.
It was an inspiring, light-hearted way to understand how much impact good prompting can have and how the human element still makes all the difference.
The day finished with talks from Google experts, who shared how AI is transforming industries and how businesses can use it to boost creativity, productivity and innovation.

AI Unlocked at WX Wakefield
Next up, we visited AI Unlocked, an event filled with more than 40 exhibitors, experts in AI, business support and digital innovation.
It was a day full of discovery and conversation, with a brilliant lineup of speakers discussing how AI can be applied across different sectors. There were interactive debates, one-to-one sessions and hands-on workshops, all designed to help businesses understand how AI can make a real difference in day-to-day operations.

What We Took Away
We left these events feeling inspired, energised and ready to bring what we learned back into our own work.
As every business owner knows, running a company means wearing many hats, time and energy are limited and productivity is essential. AI offers incredible tools to help us do more, faster and smarter.
But our biggest takeaway? AI doesn’t replace the human touch – it enhances it.
AI is at its best when it works with people, not instead of them.
The six essential human skills that make this partnership thrive are:
- 🗣️ Communication
- 💭 Critical Thinking
- 🎨 Creativity
- 💞 Emotional Intelligence
- 🔄 Adaptability
- ⚖️ Decision-Making
These are the qualities that give AI purpose and direction, the things that make our work truly unique and meaningful.
When we combine our human strengths with the power of AI, we can achieve more, tell stronger stories and deliver even better results for our business and clients.
Looking Ahead
At Momo Studio, we’re excited to continue exploring how AI can support what we do best, bringing ideas to life through design, digital innovation, marketing and print.
The future is bright, human-led and AI-powered and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
